Does it? Arg, didn't know about that one when I got it. AARRGG! A friend convinced me to get it as our next coop game, so I broke my "no online-only" rule :/
Great game. You're just running around slashing and shooting alien hordes, then BAM! You discover that you have a ground slam ability.
I like you can play co-op missions as the other squads that Titus sends out during the campaign.

No, you do not need to play the first game to play Space Marine 2.
I completed Space Marine 2 campaign. I spent only 10 minutes in the first game to see if it runs on the Steam Deck. It does.
