I live in a country that was a part of an "empire" until recently. Obviously we have nationalists on a rise. These people are so stupid. They would hate you for the "wrong" language, "wrong" soup recipe, some religion stuff... And of course they expect us all to be proud about some ancient kings and other oppressors.

The punchline should be "Everyone inside this line is able to have nice stuff" and then the farmers losing their minds about being able to do the same thing that they were before but now there is tribalism.

I love my country, because the alternative is being anexxed by America. Fuck that. Fuck America. Leave Canada alone. Fall into civil war and eat eachother.

I can appreciate the fantasy utopia of no countries, but that is not the reality we live in.
