Obsidian is also a decent option for note-taking and LMStudio/Ollama with any model is also a good replacement for an AI chatbot.

Yeah fuck Evernote. My dad used it for years and then the enshitification started. Migrated everything to Joplin.

For Notion I used self hosted Trillium Notes
