Randall P. Girdner, online comic artist of Maurice Comics, launched a project in 2025 - the Sunday Comix Collective. Gathering webcomic artists from Reddit, Blue Sky, Instagram and more, he plans to upend the era of social media artists begging algorithms for views.

Is this the start of a new movement? A way to take back the net? Girdner believes it could be a first step to an internet revolution.

Then get the fuck off corporate platforms.

You use those platforms you are choosing the set if consequences you experience as a result.

Man the fucking 60% are insufferable.

How is a comic artist supposed to make money if they don't have an audience? Corporate platforms are probably their best shot to ever reach enough people to potentially make their comics profitable. Hate the system, but the infighting and name calling is cruel and helps no one
