Ahhhhhh bu-bye.

““I haven’t seen Mexico since I was four,” Ceballos said. “I don’t speak Spanish anymore. If I get deported, it would wreck my life.”

Have the day you voted (illegally) for.

He can still love Trump from Mexico. Love knows no bounds.

[–] Skullgrid@lemmy.world 30 points 2 months ago (2 children)

unfortunately, many people do love him from outside the US

[–] rockandsock@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago (2 children)

I hope they keep loving him from afar. We don't need more pedo defenders here. Or more people encouraging fascism or religious rule.

[–] mushroommunk@lemmy.today 10 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The problem there is a lot of the lovers in other countries are trying to get their own Trump and spread the fascism.

[–] rockandsock@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

They can have ours. Why settle for a cheap copy when you can have the original.

[–] GreenBeard@lemmy.ca 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Oh, no. Your country broadcast this nonsense. You infected these... individuals of limited wit and wisdom... with his cult rhetoric. You broke them, you bought them. /s

I would like a refund! I have the receipt.

The Australian media are deeply in love with Trump.

Ha ha ha ha ha, loser. Have the day you voted for.

On one hand I'm sympathetic to people who were misled about their citizenship status. On the other hand, he did vote to be deported

"What kind of America is it where government behavior would tear a good man away from his family, his community and his cattle, leaving no one here for them? It's not the America I grew up in."

The America this guy voted for. Hope he enjoys prison and Mexico, since that is what he has been voting for.

Lol who says he's going back to Mexico and not el Salvador?

if you are "other," then it doesn't matter how pathetically loyal and bootlicky you are--you're the same as all "other," and trump wants you gone

Why is it unfair that it's happening to you and not unfair when it's happening to thousands of innocent immigrants?

[–] orbitz@lemmy.ca 5 points 2 months ago

Hah Trump throws anyone 'close' to him under the bus for $1, how can these people not see it clearly? Unless you're actively gargling his marbles you go under the bus, if you are he may wait until you're done then discard you.

People are nothing to him if they aren't giving him money or power. Really rabdom people probably don't register like a person would to you or me, most people are just objects that he deals with to get more money. If you aren't giving him money then you don't get to be acknowledged. Till you're famous and say something bad then that sets off his safe space security alarm, hah like that South Park episode.

“His friends and high school teacher worry they're partly to blame.” — They shouldn’t worry; they should accept that they are partly to blame.

...I guess some illegal immigrants do vote after all.

Huh.

[–] banazir@lemmy.ml 13 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Yeah yeah, you got exactly what you voted for, Joe, no need to rub it in. Honestly, you guys are such sore winners.

the possibility of being deported

Is there any indication that ICE is moving to deport him? Or is this pure speculation coming out of the voter fraud charges, where we worked on behalf of Republicans to juice their numbers?

I'd predict he gets a presidential pardon before he gets deported.

@homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world provided a more in depth article: https://www.kcur.org/politics-elections-and-government/2025-11-29/coldwater-mayor-voter-fraud-deportation-ceballos-kansas-attorney-general

DHS said, if he's found guilty, they'd start removal procedures. Of course, wouldn't be out of character for them to do it, anyway, even if he's not convicted.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

DHS said, if he’s found guilty, they’d start removal procedures.

Why wait? They've never dragged their heels like this before

[–] tomenzgg@midwest.social 3 points 2 months ago

If I were to wager a guess (and IANL, etc.), he'd need to've committed a crime since he has a permanent resident green card? Not that I wouldn't put it past them to try it, anyway. Though it probably makes for a much more effective propaganda message of, "See; these people are illegally voting and that's why we have to remove them," (just don't look to closely at who he's been voting for).

Ultimately – though –, I dunno; I just know that's what DHS said, according to the article.

[–] mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca 8 points 2 months ago

so this is the voter fraud they were talking about?

no, seriously, how come this guy kept getting the chance to vote without being told they weren't being counted? (I mean I assume they weren't counted)

🎵 The leopards on your face go chomp chomp chomp! 🎵

schadenfreude

[–] rem26_art@fedia.io 2 points 2 months ago

this one's kinda wild. He's been registered to vote since the 90s, but he never should have been registered in the first place cuz he's a permanent legal resident (not a full citizen), which means he also should never have been eligible to run for office. No one ever really checked I guess? Apparently his special education teacher took their class to the County Clerk's office and they registered everyone to vote.

https://www.kansas.com/news/state/article313143711.html has more info. I guess this is what happens when you just blindly vote without knowing anything about the candidates or the party.

Violent rapist criminal alien says what? Sorry, I can't understand this Mexican gibberish.
