For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

Elon Musk will have to testify over his role in shuttering the U.S. Agency for International Development, a federal judge ruled Wednesday.

U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang ruled that “extraordinary circumstances justify” compelling Musk and two former USAID officials, Peter Marocco and Jeremy Lewin, to be deposed in a lawsuit. Former USAID employees and contractors are suing Musk, accusing the former head of the Department of Government Efficiency of illegally dismantling the aid agency.

Can we deport Elon? I mean, if there's an immigrant destroying America, it's him.

Question is does he go back to South Africa? Or Canada? Since he has citizenship there and that's how he made it into the US.

Who's problem do we make it?

I mean, he's always blathering on about how he wants to go to Mars so goddamn bad, right? So... Let's send him.

Didn't they fling a Tesla toward Mars a few years back anyway? We can consider that a practice run. Just strap him in one of those abominations he masquerades as trucks and give him what he's always wanted.

And, since he certainly won't need it where he's going, we can use the assets he's leaving behind to undo the damage he's done to... well gestures broadly at everything

I'm no geopolitical expert but probably not the nation right next door.

Delay Deny Deposed? Deny Defend Deposed?
