I can't name a single "Israeli" baseball player.
Venezuela wouldn't be expected to do fantastic against teams like Dominican Republic, USA, or Japan, but they do have a few great players (I stan Luis Arraez until the day I die)
Not really making a point in this post, but my favorite player - as long as I’ve cared about baseball (so not super long lol) - has been Hernán Perez, from Venezuela. Utility players are so goated - he was so fun to watch and seemed like a really good guy. Just my one cent
The Israeli team is always players that are eligible for Israeli citizenship. So it’s just Jewish-American players.
Either that or people that peaked in their American high school, couldn't even get on a minor league team, decided to join the IDF instead
Joc Peterson and Dean Kramer have played for Israel. I don’t know if he played, but Harrison Bader wears little Jewish swastikas on his belt. Garrett Stubbs is a backup catcher who has played for them. All those players are dead to me.

If you like MLB you gotta give the WBC a try! It's massively improved in the recent implementations cause many/most big league'ers are going now. It's an absolute blast
They got Wilyer Abreu and Carlos Narvaez, two great players on the Red Sox. Narvaez is possibly the best centerfielder in the MLB.
Edit: It looks like only Wilyer Abreu will be playing for Venezuela, since Narvaez had knee surgery.
Luis Arraez is one of my favorite players, he will be there. As well as Robert Suarez an elite closer.
Just hand the whole Team Venezuela bats.
My guess is that Trump will ask Venezuela to privatize their baseball team so Israel can invest in it and Venezuela will do it in the name of peace and cooperation
