Are yoy able to switxh to HTML5 instead of Java? I never managed to get that Java applet to run properly without issues, and it sucks that older supermicro machines default to it. But many (most? All?) Have an HTML5 option you can use instead.
Also, the BMC croaks sometimes - pull bios battery and any other backup batteries during a power cycle.
As the owner of several X9 boards, I can confirm the answer is ‘no’. Java is the only option for this generation.
Noted. I'm mostly an X11 kind of guy. A few X12s.
Does it have a BIOS reset button or jumper?
If not, pull the power and the CMOS battery and leave it for like 20 minutes. Hopefully that resets the settings.
Turns out I'm just an idiot. After trying a hail mary test of moving the keyboard nib into the back of the motherboard (again) the keyboard let me navigate through BIOS. Of course, all the USB settings were enabled lol and then I went to check the USB cable coming from the KVM, it had come partially unplugged.
Gotta love good ole user error!
