Only if you buy into the weird fanboy version that got regurgitated by the /nazichan degenerates for years and years

He knew what was coming. He saw a narrow plan to circumvent it, and in the end when it failed he gave up his life and his only chance to because of his love of humanity.

Now you can fault him for being impatient, too sparse with information and even prideful at times, but a fascist he was not.

To paraphrase Oll a bit; he needed nothing for himself. He would've been happy living in a cave or on a barren moor for all that he cared, but the rest of humanity needed that symbol to rally around, and so he built it.
