Religion has been so ubiquitous across all civilizations throughout history because of the enormous utility it provides in justifying how shitty people had already decided to be. Change my mind?
As someone passionate for history and anthropology, I must say this is a good summary.
Relgion has always been and will always be, a tool to oppress and/or control other people
If religion has taught us anything. It just plain sucks ass.
