A new front in the battle between California Gov. Gavin Newsom and the Trump administration has opened over a video in which Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz visits Los Angeles and alleges members of its Armenian community orchestrated large-scale health care fraud.

The dayslong public scuffle on social media escalated on Thursday evening, when Newsom announced his office was filing a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services accusing Oz of discrimination.

Newsom’s office argued in the complaint that Oz “spewed baseless and racially charged allegations” that risked chilling participation in hospice and home care programs among the community targeted. The governor’s office noted the claims had “already caused real-world harm” by dampening business at an Armenian bakery that is shown in the video.

I'm going to be really honest with you, I think them singling out random communities for "fraud" is going to be a running theme.

The fraud in Minnesota was orchestrated by a white woman but they need to pin it on Somalis.

What's happened here is what needs to happen. Someone needed to come out and make sure that there were consequences for the accusations rather than just rolling over and letting Trump/Oz have their narrative.

RFK Jr. will kill you!

Dr. Oz will take your money away!

Dr. Octavius, Doom, and Strange are all legit doctors. That being said, Strange is kind of an asshole, and Doom would outright murder you if you disobeyed his treatment plan. Octavius would be great for prosthetics, tho.

That being said, Dr Doom is an outright genius in all fields and I'd trust him implicitly, except in matters of politics or human resources.

I have trouble believing OZ is a real doctor. Then I remember what is said about a lot of surgeons. That they have psychopathic tendencies. Just having those doesn't make you evil but given a large enough sample over time you will eventually end up with one who is pure evil.

Newsom seems like a blue maga to me but OZ is simply an evil asshole.

Once again, the frontrunner for the DNC is yet another neoliberal.

Take notes, tankies. Your asinine war against liberals and other leftists (when stuck in a 2 party system with them) has only pushed the Overtones Window further right.

People don't respond to fascism by sprinting to the left. They sprint into the arms of whomever most visibly pushes against the fascists. This is why neoliberals keep winning the hearts of non-GOP voters. Not because they believe in neoliberals, but because people recognize neoliberals are less harmful than fascists.

If you idiots could wake up and figure this out too, then maybe we could actually work on moving that Overtones Window left.

Lmfao what the fuck are you even talking about, all we've had are Neolibs like Newsom for decades.
