Welcome to YUROP
The Ultimate Eurozone of Culture, Chaos, and Continental Excellence

A glorious gathering place to celebrate (and lovingly roast) the lands, peoples, quirks, and contradictions of Her Most Magnificent Europa. From the fjords to the Med, the steppes to the Atlantic spray, this is a shrine to everything that makes Europe gloriously weird, wonderfully diverse, and occasionally passive-aggressive in 24 languages.

Here we toast:
πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί The progressive Union of Peace (and paperwork)
πŸ§€ The freest of health care
🍷 The finest of foods
πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ The liberalest of liberties
🌍 The proud non-members and honorary cousins πŸ’Ά And the eternal dance of unity, confusion, and cultural banter.

Post memes, news, satire, linguistic wars, train maps, cursed food photos, Eurovision fever, propaganda and whatever makes you scream β€œonly in YUROP.”

Leave your stereotypes at the border control and enjoy the ride.

Don't worry. At this rate, we'll be as relevant as The Internet Yellopages book (yes, it was a thing) before the decade is over.

Britain asked the US to do the regime change in Iran. Don't complain if you hook your child on that drug.

Who said anything about Britain?

Who's the father if the EU is the mother?

TIL Britain is the Babadook

Britain is the kids that ran away... (One to Australia, one to the USA, ...)

The US was already doing regime change long before that, it just wasn't using the CIA to do it (because the CIA didn't exist). I'd personally give them a pass for kicking Maximilian I out of Mexico because that was effectively just undoing France's earlier regime change, but they got involved in Samoa and Hawai'i before the 19th century was done.

Britain is, of course, not innocent here. We're absolutely responsible for fucking Iran up, amongst many other things. We just weren't the ones that got the US started on the same habits

You mean like Britain did for 300+ years, around the world?

Only in an ideal world would it be the grownups who drive.

The kid is having a seizure while driving a full bus next to a cliff.

We were created by a bunch of fanatics that y'all didn't want on the continent anymore because they constantly wanted to ruin other people's lives, can you really be that surprised?

Yes but also some businesspeople.

Normality is not the issue here. It cost a lot of institutional sanity to maintain the neo-colonial aparatus of "the west" and now the "we should not be ashamed of the nazi's actions" party is a third of Germany's parliament. You guys are only a few small steps behind us in this process and "normal" is how we ended up here.
