Deep simulations appeal to me, and I haven’t heard of this game before. Is it… is it any good?

I have yet to try it, but if you like city-builders / economic strategy games, Microlandia seems to be well liked.

We need more live in city builders, rpgs kinda half ass it sometimes like ac valhalla, and forza 6 seems to be doing (might be a more customizable base who knows, would be nice to put the roads down and not just select which building goes in a preplanned layout)

I would like to build a city and then drive around in it, don't think that's too crazy to want (most of these games do look bad upclose, but riding a golf cart in planet zoo in vr would be fun idc)

I think SimCity 3/4000 had a mod for that.
