small firms are unlikely to get favorable debt burden compared to bond market, so like what, 10% apr? this would just cripple them, structurally, not to mention it creates place for misreporting shenanigans over assets/obligations, not that anyone cares. for workers it's whatever, for economy it's not great sign.
although i'm sure financial bros will argue that mini bourgeois also deserve debt market, so ymmv
(aside from this being available as a sign of stress, structurally financial capital now interferes even in normal running of small-company)
