Graphene, lineage, iode, /e/, postmarket if you have a 3a/3a xl
I've have calyx on the last 4 phones. My current one and last one are/were affected by the LTE/5G chip malfunction. The one before was affected by the gama malfunction. The one before that was affected by the wifi bug. My next one was going to be Graphene, but I'm done with google's jankyass hardware bullshit.
Edit. Autocorrect.
I can't say I blame you, my last 2 pixels have had fucked up issues too (both battery related), I was more going into recommendations for this newest issue
What's the point of the accelerated update schedule if you can't ship it without introducing critical bugs?!
Crippling AOSP of course
My Wifi keeps shutting itself off. Looking through the messages in Google's FAQ for issues I have found it to have been a thing for a while now. But trying to get it fixed or whatever sounds like a chore since it isn't under warranty anymore, and it isn't something they're actively following through with (like the screen lines of pixel issues). What do I do? (Pixel 8 Pro).
Edit: here's one of many support threads on the issue I'm having (almost 2 years old)...

Do you use Google wallet for tap to pay? If not, try GrapheneOS.
It's fairly simple, based on AOSP, and works with pretty much any app (except Google Wallet).
I do use Wallet, as well as other banking apps that don't play nice with root, etc. I would love to otherwise - I am not a stranger to such things ha ha
Yeah I'm in the same boat. I'd love to degoogle a bit, but there are just a few essential apps that don't play nice with Graphene.
What's an update?
And people give me grief for being slow to do updates.
I need my stuff to work - I'll let some other suckers be guinea pigs.
