The game just stopped working on my Steam Deck all of a sudden. I suspect it has to do with that crappy EA launcher. Now the game won't boot, it just takes me back on the home screen. No error at all.
I have tried every possible solution I've found online and nothing really worked
- Deleted Proton files
- Switched to a different Proton compatibility or w/e it's called
- Uninstalled/reinstalled the game TWICE (thank god my internet is fast)
- Launched the game on Desktop mode after fresh install
- Verified game files
It sucks because I have been enjoying the game since it's my first playthrough. It was working flawlessly up until now. The only thing left is to completely factory reset the Steam Deck, but I am still hoping for a solution to avoid that since that will take a lot of effort and set up again.
Any ideas?
