Ps. If you see a “choko” in the wild and are tempted to forage it to fill out your dinner, make sure that it’s not the similar looking but poisonous fruit of the moth vine.
I hear you can tell by the milky sap it oozes when damaged - but don’t touch the sap and wash it off if it gets on you. It’s dangerous to both people and pets. Other sources say the moth vine fruit looks matte while a choko fruit is shiny.
