So i had a dreamcast 20 some years ago, it was awesome but got destroyed in a flood. I would buy another one but I have way too mamy consoles already. I was messing with emulating and I tried looking everywhere for any dreamcast style controllers for use with pc, or adapters, and really didnt find anything, except maybe the blissbox? I like to at least have the right controller vs just playing everytbing with a ps2 controller..

As MurrayL said, Raphnet-Tech is your best option for adapters.

However, I would honestly recommend picking up an Xbox Series X controller. The build quality is pretty nice, and it's super comfortable in the hand. It has the exact same button layout as the Dreamcast including triggers, just with an extra stick and the bumper buttons, so it's perfect for Dreamcast emulation. Plus, you can use it on all your other games as well.

I agree. I don't own any consoles, but I have 2x Xbox controllers for steam link or PC gaming. Quality is superb. They're roughly $60 new and I got exactly what I wanted.

If you use yours for general PC gaming, I recommend the DualSense as well, whenever you're in the market for a new controller.

You can use the touchpad as a mousepad. Which is awesome if I never wanna worry about getting up from the couch to mess with the mouse.

Raphnet (and possibly others) make a USB adapter for Dreamcast pads, if you have one.

If you want something brand new, Xbox controllers have a more or less direct lineage from Sega pads, as (iirc) MS hired many ex-Dreamcast personnel to work on the original Xbox after the DC was killed off.

360 pads work well on PC and are easy to come by. Hyperkin also makes a modern version of the original Xbox ‘duke’ controller that might work well.

Here you go.

Do a little research and make sure it’ll work for you, but I think this might be your magic bullet.

Oh, fascinating! I'll have to look into it some more later, but do you know if it supports receiving VMU information from the game?

Like Sonic Shuffle showing your cards on the VMU

I imagine that would hinge on the specific emulator you’re using and whether it’s has developed support for it.

While this is COOL, I dont need wireless, I dont use windows, and i could buy a whole dreamcast with a controller for the price theyre asking!

Good website though, thank you.

I’m sure it would likely work fine on Linux, but yeah, isnt cheap.

While cool, its not the original!

You mentioned "Dreamcast style" so I didn't think you'd mind

True true, I still will keep that one you sent in mind, I appreciate

I used the Nintendo Switch "Pro controller" in the past and it was fine.
