Just keep firing the staff that keeps the place running. I’m sure the AI will step in and take care of everything. Any day now. Now that I think of it, it’s kind of like “Trickle Down Economics.” Any day now… any day…

It's interesting that this is how the "we put idiots in charge of our corporations" system worked itself out. An entire economy conned by what amounts to a perpetual motion machine l, despite being told be everyone who advised them that it doesn't work.

What these CEOs haven’t considered is the massive impact to the bottom line if they leveraged AI to replace C-suite workers. Remember, AI has no need for ever increasing multi-million dollar bonuses or golden parachute exit packages. It’s also perfectly suited to perform well in those roles.

The main role of CEOs seems to be schmoozing with other CEOs and venture capitalists. I don't know if AI can do that just yet.

The fact that so much of our economy and world is based on the whims of some rich assholes is concerning.

Just you wait until llms start negotiating salaries and bonuses on top of subscriptions for "their" work, on behalf of altboi and friends. Wild they haven't started yet.
