What do you do when your union has endorsed the mainstream dem candidate and is asking union members to help out with the campaign?

If the org isn't dem cent you don't have to follow every decision they make of course, so do you just politely decline and look the other way and focus on your duties as an actual member to the union? Should you try to make a stink and object? Maybe get into leadership to try to prevent decisions like this in the future?

It's my first time navigating these kinds of circumstances, I'm just interested if anyone has good advice or thoughts about the race in general? I feel like there really are no good choices.
