Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

There is a lot of reporting on electric passenger cars, but coverage of electric trucks and buses is much more limited. I therefore looked up the figures to see how high the share of electric vehicles is in these segments among new registrations in Austria. The data comes from Statistik Austria, and the chart was created by me.
For me, the most interesting aspect was the huge growth in all these vehicle segments. The share of electric semis quadrupled in just one year.
Does electric drive include hybrids that only use electric drive for 'performance' reasons?
I've shown the numbers without hybrid engines.
Oh, like the Ram 1500 eTorque? I dunno, probably.
