instance block will block all comments in the lemmy 1.0 update, which is in testing. currently it just blocks comms
It can't come soon enough
User settings, select block tab. Scroll down to block instances. Should work
no it only blocks comms, it will start blocking comments from the blocked instance in lemmy 1.0, which is in testing rn!

strange I got the options to block instances. maybe i'm the chosen one
right but all it does is stop posts from that instance in showing up in /all, in lemmy 1.0 it will also keep comments showing up
sorry rereading my comment and realizing i wrote "comms" instead of "posts from comms"
it blocks comms as in "communities", but not "comments" from users of other instances, that feature is still in testing.
I’ve never actually set an instance block, so maybe I’m wrong, but I always assumed that’s what they do? Block all posts, comments, & comms?
E: huh, still haven’t tested, but sounds like it only blocks comms
Yeah it only blocks comms and posts from that comm
