"Let it be very clear, then, that when the church preaches social justice, equality, and human dignity; when the church defends those who suffer poverty or violence, this is not subversive nor is it Marxism. This is the authentic magisterium of the church.

Try not to use URL shorteners here on hexbear. We don't know where the link leads if it's disguised and will suspect ill intent.

I tried but it wouldn't let me post the original link. I posted from lemmy, also I've posted here for a long time

It must be user error because I just went and made a post using the original website link. demonstrated here: https://hexbear.net/post/7323145

Anyways, you posting here for a long time doesn't mean something is allowed because it hasn't previously been brought up for discussion, it simply means it hasn't been noticed until now. Anyways please try to avoid using URL shorteners here on hexbear.

But when I try to share my link it doesn't work how do I do it without a shortener? Thanks

So what I did was go onto your blog, then I copied the full address of the blog from the address box, came back to hexbear and clicked the create post button and pasted the link into the box requesting the site URL. And them the rest as usual, witty title, comm selection, post.

If that still doesn't work, please reply again to this comment and include the link you tried to use and I'll see if there's any mischievous devilry at work in the machine that's stopping you from posting.

Okay can you reply to this comment with the link you're using when you attempted to make a post?

Here try this link https://rb.gy/0o2lgk Then try the source link, it won't work

[–] marc_shirley@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 days ago (2 children)

I can't even post the link in this reply??? What's up

[–] Alaskaball@hexbear.net 2 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Well, as Edie said, your lemmy side chose to block it. Since that's well out of your control, I won't bring up a fuss about posting shortened URL links here exclusively for you. Thank you for putting up with these technicalities for the past days.

Your blogs link has been added to lemmy.mls blocked_urls list
