To some people and in some situations definitely, but it's also a fun bonding exercise with other people and in other situations

If you ever hope to see a day where people are picking up guns for a revolution you better hope more people start getting off-putting. You think we're gonna go from "political violence is never the answer" to picking up guns, without people thinking that killing fascists is socially acceptable?
You shouldn't show your inner Hexbear at every opportunity and start bringing up gulags or whatever, but I'm past giving grace to those people. I state pretty clearly that I think the world would be objectively better if X was dead and the only people who don't think so are fascist followers themselves or haven't considered the gravity of harm X has actually caused. It gives the opportunity to deconstruct that abstract harm and put it in terms they understand so that "killing X" no longer sounds worse to them than "X's actions are not physically violent but have socially murdered 10,000 people". It helps to bring up that Hitler never directly killed anyone himself.
I also plainly state that I am satisfied when people get Kirked. It sometimes makes people uncomfortable but I think how you say it matters, like "someone should KILL this guy!" is gonna get you the side eye for sure.
Yea, I am sure they will go away on their own. They always do, right? No intervention needed, they are nice like that, those fascists.
Cowardice is off putting too.
I'm something of an off putting person
Even if they deserve it because they are ontologically evil
I dunno I've made so many people laugh talking about charlie kirk
