"Tense Night in Burkina Faso After Suspicions of Coup Attempt

In Burkina Faso, the night of Saturday, January 3rd to Sunday, January 4th was turbulent in Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso. At the call of the Citizen Vigilance associations – supporters of the military regime – hundreds of people took to the streets to block "an attempted coup."
