[orange, grinning smugly behind a lectern, speaking in a microphone] The operation was successful

[purple, an uneasy smile, replying to orange] Were there any casualties?

[orange] No legitimate human has been hurt, trust me

[purple] Thank you, I have no further questions

If anyone is wondering: at least 80 people died, most of them young soldiers sleeping in the barracks.

EDIT: updating the number of deaths

Were they legitimate humans?

That depends on whether Venezuelan like my self count as humans or not.

(I'm pretty sure that for Trump we aren't, so... There you have it.)

I feel like we are just a few years away from having to have papers to be alive.

I mean if not having them can already get you sent to a prison camp in a foreign country for life, or if being a citizen of the wrong country can get you killed in your sleep and then the empire will act as if you didn't ever exist, it really isn't a stretch.

They're just going to start microchipping people like we do pets, and there'll be a whole black market industry into rewriting them & bypassing their encryption.

... I feel like I've watched this movie & thought the book was better...

I'm afraid to say I could not find a video saying those words, but I'm still treating this as false hope.
