The Fediverse is doing great, apparently.

I got recommended this article by TechCrunch, that was written yesterday (1:02 PM PST January 1, 2026), earlier this morning.

TechCrunch has that article tagged as "evergreens", which I think is their code for "we can probably get away with reposting this later and pretending it's brand new."

Case in point, this article was published in 2023.

Uh, that link takes me to a Page Not Found. Whoops! page, although, immediately after arriving, I do get a very quick flash of the article.

Me, too. I don't know why. I assume TechCrunch deleted the 2003 article, but that shouldn't impact a snapshot.
