Russian soldiers have attacked a Ukranian city while wearing Ukrainian uniforms. If that doesn't qualify as perfidy, I don't know what does. Furthermore, there have been a few assassination attempts against Zelensky by Russians, so that argument is off the table just by merit of symmetry.
