Quite a risky scroll. Well played OP, well played.

[–] deacon@lemmy.world 9 points 4 months ago

I had to scroll this full image into view and let me tell you. I was expecting something else.

[–] SanctimoniousApe@lemmings.world 9 points 4 months ago (2 children)

I must be permanently stuck in the muck, since all I see is NSFW. What saves it from being such?

[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 19 points 4 months ago (1 children)

I'd recommend zooming in. Human thighs don't usually have electrical outlets or skirting boards, vulvas don't usually have ceiling lights, etc.

[–] SanctimoniousApe@lemmings.world 6 points 4 months ago (1 children)

TY for the straight answer. Much appreciated!

[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 6 points 4 months ago

Anything for a fellow ape that's as sanctimonious as I am. Ape together strong.

Are you an AI? What stops it is what the picture is...

[–] SanctimoniousApe@lemmings.world 4 points 4 months ago

I'll admit as I get older my brain ain't what it used to be, but unlike AI I'm usually not faking it.

[–] lettruthout@lemmy.world 4 points 4 months ago

Yeah, the internet has ruined me.

[–] danc4498@lemmy.world 31 points 4 months ago (2 children)

This one of those AI things?

[–] NichEherVielleicht@feddit.org -1 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (5 children)

A foto from @zeel_freel

Why don't you people just search for yourself before claiming, it's really annoying.

[–] danc4498@lemmy.world 19 points 4 months ago (2 children)

First, it was a question. Second, not sure what to google as it’s a picture of hallway with ZERO credit given to the author (shame on you OP). Third, it’s still not clear as the album is a bunch of photoshopped images. Maybe not AI, but definitely photoshop to look this way? Fourth, I’ll think of something fourth in a little while.

That was a question, not a statement. They weren't claiming anything, merely asking.

That doesn’t make it not AI.

You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone.

[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 7 points 4 months ago

Imagine, if you will, a corridor: long, beige, and utterly unremarkable. Now imagine that same corridor as part of a person, breathing, blinking, and regarding you with quiet indignation. For Martin Hale, these two visions are one and the same.

Mr. Hale is a reasonable man in an unreasonable predicament. He opens a door and finds not a passageway, but a person. He averts his eyes out of courtesy only to walk headlong into a wall that insists it was never flesh at all. Doctors tell him his vision is perfect. Friends tell him to relax. Architects, however, have begun filing complaints.

Tonight’s story is not about desire, nor about indecency. It is about perception and what happens when the human mind, in a final act of rebellion, refuses to label the world correctly. For Mr. Hale, every hallway is exposed, every person an empty space to be passed through.

You are about to enter a place where context collapses, where the ordinary becomes profoundly inappropriate, and where the most dangerous thing is not what you see but what you think you’re seeing.

You’ve just stepped into…The Twilight Zone.

Looks more like a hallway than a Swedish car to me, but to each their own. Maybe it's like that dress that was either white and gold or black and blue.

[–] Coelacanth@feddit.nu 3 points 4 months ago

To me it looks more like a corridor, but maybe the long drawn-out nature of it is what made them think of the wait for Half-Life 3?

[–] bytesonbike@discuss.online 9 points 4 months ago

Leading to a place that as Lemmy users, we may never see.

[–] titanicx@lemmy.zip 16 points 4 months ago

That is one smooth hallway

[–] Iheartcheese@lemmy.world 16 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (1 children)

After you open it if you squint you can still fap to it

[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 9 points 4 months ago (1 children)

You might not need to squint. That looks like it could be real mahogany flooring.

[–] peetabix@sh.itjust.works 13 points 4 months ago

Like throwing a hotdog down a hallway

[–] agent_nycto@lemmy.world 12 points 4 months ago (1 children)
[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 5 points 4 months ago

Nice. That's at least a triple entendre, by my count.

[–] CIA_chatbot@lemmy.world 10 points 4 months ago (1 children)

This picture goes from “damnit I’m a pervert” to “Aaaand I’m stuck in the backrooms” really quick

[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 7 points 4 months ago (1 children)

That would be a good SCP: something that looks like a sexy human, but it's really just the backrooms' lure in the form of a hole in spacetime.

[–] CIA_chatbot@lemmy.world 6 points 4 months ago

D-Class 667219 please proceed down the hallway. “Umm doc? Is it normal to be aroused by a hallway? This is freaking me out more than anything, and I used to clean 682’s cell”

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 9 points 4 months ago
[–] krooklochurm@lemmy.ca 8 points 4 months ago

I'd like to get all up in that hallway

[–] otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 4 months ago (1 children)

That lighting is... bedazzling.

[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago (1 children)

It's not bad, but I could do without it. Personally, I think a dark fabric covering on the ceiling would look better.

[–] otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Someone'd have to specifically tend to such a luxurious display, no doubt. Also, red would be better.

[–] jordanlund@lemmy.world 6 points 4 months ago (1 children)
[–] Remember_the_tooth@lemmy.world 4 points 4 months ago

It's in the ceiling at the end of the hallway.

[–] HardcoreShitting@piefed.world 5 points 4 months ago

The five and a half minute hallway?
