"I'm going to lay here. Don't touch me or move because I'll bite you"
Ventured into the city to check out the new train stations and have a general wander around. Love the new stations!! Topped off with a delicious ramen meal from a place we hadn't tried yet.
Can't write all that without mentioning the name of the ramen joint.
How rude.
That's true, very rude of me! Hakata Gensuke, it was really yum!
Every time I want to go there, huge line! I havenβt been patient enough to wait yet.
That explains why the service and food was so quick! Hope you try it soon!!
Apology accepted. It's a top joint.
Thinking of doing this with the kids, especially while pt is free on weekends
Highly recommend! We really enjoyed it. Some of the elements of the stations made us think we were in a video game.
Did you start at any particular point? I'm wondering how to go about it.
We did it a bit funny as we drove into the city and started at State Library, went to Arden, down to Anzac and back to Town Hall. But that was more about which trains were coming or going. Just start at whichever you land closest to!
PT was not busy at all today, so that was cool.
Yeah! There was a decent amount of people gawking along with us, but it was cool to see!
Taste sensation : cos lettuce leaf with a slice of camembert and some stoned cherries, rolled up and eaten like a hot dog. Yummmmm. Perfect for a hottish night.
sounds delicious π€€
Guinea pigs sleep with their eyes open. It's creepy. I thought there was casualties.
I did not know that.
it would freak me if I saw it π
Time for a beer or 2 πΊ

Boyo are playing Traveller's Rest and I think it's going to eat up our entire holiday. I'm okay with that!
home from shopping, got a nice little aussie art book, some nice tucker, beads for doing beading which I find very relaxing, the Air cd I got wasn't actually Air, just some new age rubbish ( lol ) but otherwise a fruitful day
and also am now changed and showered after unknowingly sitting on a damp seat on the train
just finished my second bottle of craft brewed bundy, bundy creamy soda
might have fish and chips for dinner

love these guys since the first cd
met them at the detroit edm festival in a bar, we had lots of beers, told jokes, put music on the jukebox and danced. I pretended I did not figure out who they were.
c'mon, french guys at the edm that looks exactly like them? lol
and the video for this is awesome π₯Ή
That's so cool! I only recently saw them live for the first time at the 25th Anniversary show of Moon Safari at Sidney Myer Music Bowl and it was AMAAASZZZZZINNNGGGGG
That's pretty cool π
I love this song! And album
Me too!
Vacuum cleaner really sucks. 10/10 would vacuum again.
It does a much better job than the old stick, possibly better than the plug in vacuum too. The auto emptying feature is amazing, you just hang it up on the charging station and it automatically vacuums the dust out into a bag in the tower without you having to do anything. I let it get to 90% charge before I tried it out and it didn't have enough power to do the whole house, but I didn't figure out how to put it on the low power mode (which is all it needs for the hard floor areas) until I'd nearly finished, so it shouild be fine to do the whole lot in future. And it has the second battery if I want to use the handheld to do other bits or to use the mopping attachment too. Once I get enough charge in the battery again I'll try the mopping head out. It's just damp spinning microfibre pads, so I can't see how it could not work ok.
You can get a version that has a robot vacuum that docks underneath the tower, but after the nasty tail-tangling incident where a robot tried to eat my dog's tail I don't trust those things.
I went down six flights of stairs to get to this party, and I'm having a lovely time
My vaccuum cleaner came with a voucher for 10% of it's purchase price, so I've just ordered a fancy red pair of Kitchenaid beaters. I've been resisting buying a pair when mine broke because I knew mum would have some she doesn't need when she moved into the serviced apartment, but it turns out I really hate the ones she had - the beaters keep coming out while you are using it! I don't know if they are faulty or really badly designed.
I was unable to stay awake longer than 10:30 last night and only just woke up now. I guess I needed a major catch up sleep!
The lifts in my building are both broken. Again.
I've got my six year old niece's birthday party to get to, and no idea when I'll be able to leave the house. For fuck's sake
The vacuum cleaner has been unboxed and put together ready to go. Now I have to wait for the battery to charge so I can actually try it out.
You can try it out at my place if you want free of charge. I'll even let you do all the rooms just to make sure it works.
