Anyone who thinks the Imperium are good guys are fascists, because the Imperium is explicitly fascist, that's kind of the whole point of 40k, there's no winners or real heroes under fascism, only people being ground into dust until nothing is left.

And the thing is these servitors could be anyone. Random people get snatched up for whatever reason. There are no rights there. Hell there are cherubs which are basically vat grown children servitors. Who the fuck roots for that?
Didn’t even the creators of Warhammer pretty much explicitly say that the Imperium aren’t good guys. Why is media literacy so fucked.
Because they keep writing novels and games set in the setting in which the imperium are the heroes. I can't blame people for getting it wrong, when the authors keep doing so.
