Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

I mean don’t come here? Beyond President Doofus trying to annex Canada, they just discussed using military against Americans without going through the court of law by designating them “terrorist groups”. You know, the famous Antifa terrorist group whose shared value is ~~anti-fascism~~ destroying America.

The US has a negative rate, not due to a decrease in tourism but due to a massive increase of deportations of legal residents of various nationalities and sexual orientations

I wonder how many of that is still just people who have to travel to the USA for work.

I'm sure requiring 5 years of social media history that is favourable to Trump to enter will help.

Doesn't have to be favorable, just nothing negative towards the administration.

Anyway, it's just a proposal ATM. They're flying the idea to see how people react. Betting they enact a watered down, but still invasive, version. That way they can say, "It could have been worse!"

People whose social media is positive toward Mr Trump, statistically speaking, ether can't travel to America or can't afford to leave their own region. The intersection of "traveler" and "pro Trump" trends to nothing.

I dunno. I'm alarmed at the rise of the right wing in Europe. I'm in America, so maybe what I'm reading about is overblown, but it sure sounds bad.

He doesn't even want the travel. He hates foreigners period.

I'm glad Trump is enacting policies that are better for the environment.

Still too high.

TFA quotes someone saying that overall Canadian travellers are yoy while travel to USA is only 40% of last year which is heartening.

Much of the remainder is probably business travelers. And keep in mind, most people are politically clueless. Also, white travelers assume they will be safe.
