Because the shutdown shitshow and Dem capitulation means subsidies are in limbo, how are you navigating this disaster? Will you downgrade your plan or cancel altogether?

Also a reminder that the deadline to change your plan for 2026 is tomorrow!

Not on ACA rather medicaid and idk if I'll be hit with the work requirements. I guess maybe see if I could get a work from home job since I don't have a car but that's doubtful so maybe I'll just die

I already have the cheapest plan that will work for me lol

Ah, gotcha. I was on one of the cheaper plans and everything below it has insanely high deductibles.

Yea I'm pretty much at the level of I only have insurance so I don't go completely bankrupt if an emergency happen and end up having tons of debt

Not exactly the best idea but I don't have any health issues so I can work with it, for now at least.

I already picked the only real option for medical in my area. I chose the same plan i had last year but it is $50 /month more this time. It's either the main health insurance co for the state or several from regional catholic church run health care system. If you go with the locals it's much cheaper options but anything outside their system is out of network and they have almost no specialists or imaging equipment and it's hard to even get an appointment with a gp. The large corp has almost every hospital and specialists local and state-wide in network. A lot more cost per month but the deductable is much smaller. Trying to decide now if I should add a dental plan insurance this year. Anyone have Humana or Delta?
