People who trust these influencer-shilled vpn providers over their ISP are awfully brave or have terrible ISPs. I wonder how many people actually put together that they’re replacing one untrustworthy entity with an other untrustworthy entity.

But this makes a lot of sense. I saw a list of exit nodes recently and assumed they were doing some GeoIP fuckery instead of actual routing

I’d take one of these shitty ones over an ISP beholden to my government. Luckily I can use mull as instead.

The 3 VPN which matched physical locations with actual country IP address location: Mullvad, IVPN, and Windscribe.

Yeah, but I think this test is not completely fair. For example Private Internet Access displays if it is a virtual server instead of a physical server. . I think it would have been better if they excluded those from the test.
