I wish it was unique to America
Not sure where else to put it, so here's a mini rant most of you have probably already realized.
The term Palantir comes from Tolkein's LoTR work. I had heard that before. But I didn't realize a Palantir is the crystal ball thingy that the baddies use to spy. And the strong of will can apparently control what others see.
Holy fucking on the nose. Fascists not even trying to not look like fascists is the scariest thing happening.
