I'm working on a video review for what appears to be a "perfect clone" of the Official Steam Deck dock on Amazon - at HALF the price of the official dock.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F329XZZR
Not only does it look EXACTLY like it - top to bottom - left to right ... It comes WITH an "OEM" power brick ($25 on its own).
I did preliminary power tests between both the official and this clone dock - with both the official OEM and this clone power brick - and power seems consistent between them. So that's positive. It doesn't bear the Deck logo, but it does bear an identical label on it.
However, in actually testing the dock as a daily driver, I discovered at least one flaw so far. The ethernet port doesn't work. At all. Lights up, but does NOT work. Not with OLED. Not with LCD.
This disqualifies it immediately for me - but some won't care ... not that that price. However, before springing the cash, I'd wait for me to finish testing it extensively and see if anything else doesn't work right.
Hopefully this will help someone out.
