US–Russia Espionage Dynamics amid the War in Ukraine
The one-sided reporting on this always makes the NATO look weak and feckless. Consequently, western popular opinion of the organization sours as these headlines begin to feel like the US Media is just perpetually posting our "Ls". Guys like Trump come into office, having ingested reams of NYPost "They're winning the war and we're letting them!" headlines with total disgust for our exigent military alliances.
Meanwhile, we seem to glaze over NATO-assisted espionage and sabotage executed in and around Russia. It all seems to exist to reward people who cheer for more war and punish people who are horrified at what the next level of escalation will bring.
