It is with great sorrow that I say this, but I believe I accidentally threw my steamdeck away in the trash.
I drive a semi truck, and have used my steamdeck in my off hours, as a way to connect to my friends and family back home, but today, at a fuel stop, the Loves in Jasper, Tennessee, I believe I must have thrown out my steam deck into a trash can next to a fuel pump while I was filling up my truck.
I've gone through my entire truck looking for it, but to no avail. I feel the only logical thing that could have happened is that I put my deck down near a spot above my trashcan, and with the trucks movements, it fell into it, and I didn't notice it happening.
Take care of where you set your decks down folks.
Edit: A person here has reached out to me with a steam deck that they no longer use. I'm in contact with them, and they are shipping me their deck. I am truly grateful for this person, thank you so much!
