Noooo! I can't relax during rain because I have a dang drain at the bottom of the (exterior) basement stairs that always clogs up with leaves and related detritus. I've been out there at midnight standing in ankle-deep water scooping leaves out with my bare hands too many times.
Have you tried not draining your dangs?
That took me longer than I'd care to admit. Nice one!
We get the same feeling during extreme winter storms with blowing snow, minus 20 degree weather and hollowing winds ... but you're inside next to an electric heater with a fake fireplace.
