And that trash can was designated for non development which has thwarted at least one developer (Ronald Grump) from gentrifying Seame Street. This is canon.

Edit:Having checked the wiki. Oscar has defeated multiple developers named Ronald Grump.

I was in Sesame Place, the Sesame Street theme park this weekend. Central Sesame Street has a subway station.
