yeah, the same kind of study was done for the US quite a few years ago

causes include access to food, background and peer pressure

Walkbility would also be a huge factor. If you can walk to the shops on a sunny day, you're gonna do that. If you have to drive half an hour to anywhere, you're gonna get real sedentary

I can't believe there is a North or the River South of the river divide in BMI for Perth! Is there more fast food SOR?

Edit: I think less nice parks/waking areas might be a factor.

It'll be down to the golden triangle being north of the river. And maybe midland and armadale being south.

Map needs to be by post code.

Yeah, thats true. I know they made assessments by postcode, so that data is probably in the report somewhere, the full report is open and available at that link.

Also considering Midland is SOR, which i definitely don't always consider, maybe the vast majority of the population would be SOR, so comparing uneven population sizes might be leading to a quirk.
