“Nice” is 100% worthy of thanks. Stop trying to push the narrative that being nice isn’t good enough. For fuck’s sake!! People have enough guilt and self-esteem issues without having to be ridiculed and less-than just because nice was all they have in the tank.

I... Didn't say that? I said it was the default. Just like you shouldn't expect applause for hitting the baseline of human interaction, you also shouldn't be ridiculed.
Furthermore, prayer is not action.
Nice is not a negative. It’s okay to be nice to people if that’s all you have in you. And while advocacy is always needed, don’t sell yourself short of feel less than if nice is all you have to offer.
This meme will have you believe is as bad as nothing at all.
It’s not. And it’s not even close.
Don’t let people short your effort because it’s not their definition of helpful. For perspective;
Your $20 donation from an account that only has $50, is far more meaningful than a $100 donation from an account with millions.
