every villain just more closeted and miserable than the last (shot by the wrong cupids, smh) but the gay cupid's tireless efforts returns them to their true gay (in both meanings) selves
okay okay, picture this, the world's last gay cupid staggers down an alleyway, battered, bruised, bleeding and broken, collapsing on the rain slickened bricks. They're found by some guy, who, thinking they're a PRETTY LADY 
he carries them home to nurse them back to health. However, in doing so, he finds that they're not a pretty lady at all, but androgynous and genderless (they're an angel don't @ me). His attraction despite the hetero cupid's programming overrides his brainwashing, giving the gay cupid enough love to recuperate and empower them to fight back against the straights
i'm just saying i could see it and for anyone who finds the problematic I'm sorry but that's what makes it authentic anime
