so a bunch of actors that would never associate with Fox in a million years have been advertised as part of this "Life of Jesus" podcast, but they are only part of it because they all recorded audio for a New Testament audiobook in 2010. Kinda seems, idk....illegal? Are they allowed to repurpose audio like this if the contract said that the recordings could only be used for that one project?
The contract would as standard allow reuse and re-editing and repurposing. Otherwise no film would ever get a directors cut, and there would be no outtake reels ever.
But probably only within the scope of the original project, a director's cut is still the same perfect whereas this appears to be a completely different one.
Reuse is reuse.
All depends what's written in the contract... I highly doubt they can use material from X-Men to put the talent in a adult diaper commercial...
I looked into it briefly and in all likelihood she could but it depends heavily on her contact.
Christians are all about stealing and unfettered capitalism.

I'm surprised they're just repurposing the audio. I was thinking they used AI to steal her voice. Won't be long now i bet
