I thought it had been demonstrated some time ago that these were a scam designed specifically to harvest taxpayer cash?

JSAs are theft of our taxes. We need to directly fund these services not add a for profit layer in between.
Ditch the lot and move to UBI. The few people I know who are long term unemployed would do better with support rather than the light dehumanisation of forced job searching.
When I was with a JSA, they recommended the same factory job every month for ten months until I found myself a job.
"Won't someone think of the capitalist!?!"
Bring back free and open classified ads. That shit worked pre-internet. Even jobs are owned by a website now. It seems like the information is specialized now, rather than public.
It's absolutely wild we don't have a government run job website.
Companies ought to play by our rules, not bribe a rent seeker.
Maybe some different sort of less authoritarian economic system would be something to try?
So everyone who wants to work can find shit to do and all the stuff from people who work doesn't just get tossed?
...no? I'll have to be murdered for subverting the natural order? K.
