They'll come after trans folk first, particularly trans women. We're such a small and visible minority it'd be easy to kill us all - anyone who has made any progress on their transition is already registered by the government, their employers, their neighbors, etc. We're soft targets.

As we can see in Amerika, the white ones just glom onto the movement with seemingly endless faith that they won't get Long Knife'd as soon as the duopoly's done with them

if the openly fascist american politicians (the republicans. the democrats are fascists as well, but they are more about silently enabling the republicans in their evil actions) have their way, they will institute systematic ways to strip LGBTQ+ people of their dignity and freedoms first, and then begin actions that will kill us off. states banning hormone therapy are already examples of policies meant to begin killing off trans people. its the same process worldwide honestly.

Queer folk will be the first to get targeted, so arm yourself, carry and organize. Not to be pessimist, but it could happen any day just like it happened in Jakarta. Learn from the past, and exploit the 2nd amendment.

This may be a naïve question, but is there any forseeable route of Fascism in which Trans people are NOT explicitly seen as “lesser than” or “unnatural” and are treated normal? It seems to be the overwhelming trend among the Dangerously Far Right. Obviously this form would still be Fascist and disgusting in its own right, but I can’t imagine it.

i see two main outcomes. either the "civilized" (imperialist, capitalist western/global north) countries who have made progress with LBGTQ+ rights will leverage the fact to justify crimes against "uncivilized" (impoverished, oppressed global south) countries, or we will be wiped out bit by bit, starting with the most vulnerable of our community (transfem and nonbinary poc) to the least vulnerable (cis white gay dudes), being censored and ignored into oblivion. american republicans are pushing for the latter while american democrats are pushing for the former

Not as much as it used i'd say. They will restrict them from being openly gay and talking about certain stuff but i dont see concentration camps happening any time soon. We are experiencing a new kind of fascism, a progressive fascism which play the same roles of "the civilized world needing to conquer and lecture the uncivilized world". But this time, "progressive" politicians sprinkle gay rights into the equation where being part of the civillised world means "showing off" your gay rights and inclusivety ,these things by themselves are not wrong but are currently being used as excuses to invade other countries/ finance terrorists/ militants of political opponents. Now, even the "progressive" democrats are using terms and language that Nazis and Colonizers have used to justify their imperialism.
