I like in the old days when it was standard to shoot someone who was cheating at cards. Works in place of a non-functioning justice system.

The blue states need to step up and gerrymander even harder.

I hate the idea of it. I know some blue states already do a little bit, and I don’t like that either. But I don’t see a better option.

Blue states could unite together, drawing up their districts in such a way as to push the Dems versus Repubs representation in the house closer to the voter democrat versus republican voter affiliation in the whole country….

California is already trying to match Texas, and their map is being voted on by the people next week. It looks set to pass.

Honestly, they needed to fucking do that like a decade or two ago, when it became apparent that it was a coordinated partisan effort instead of a handful of bad actors. But no - let’s continue bringing a handkerchief to a gunfight and insist that it’s a poker game. What’s the worst that could happen?
