I have no idea why the internet left decided to chain themselves to the cart of Hasan years ago in the first place. He has demonstrated questionable decision making for years and his fanbase is honestly a classic cult of personality. He presents himself in a way that is extremely unhelpful. The best time to disavow was 5 years ago. The second best time is now. Even Mandami (with his terrible political instincts recently) has managed to realise this.
