I a bit more concerned about the demolishing of the Constitution and the destruction of the United States. Buildings are easy to rebuild, countries not so much.

I feel the same, but let's take what we can get. Whatever chips away at his support.

He doesn’t have support. The election was stolen and today I had my first Lemmy comment removed for inciting violence against the oligarchs. We’re done. Another genocide first before we let these guys nope out of life on their own terms.

Article II getting demolished to be replaced with art of the deal

[–] redlemace@lemmy.world 8 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

Art. II) Art of the deal

II.a) making a deal is mandatory

II.b) making a deal makes you the winner

II.c) the content of the deal is less relevant

II.d) signing a deal bounds the other party, not yourself

II.e) each new deal is bigger, better and more beautifull than all other deals before it

Yeah, a bit too late now when the excavators are halfway through the White House.

I just got an AP report that they finished, actually. The east wing literally is no more.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 1 points 5 months ago

Well that was a nice East Wing we had there, once.

As it turns out, expressing outrage has zero effect on Donald Trump doing whatever the fuck he wants.

Just fine, then the american people can't go through my arc the trumpf and must walk around it like the loosers they are!

[–] ChonkyOwlbear@lemmy.world 5 points 5 months ago

Right. Denolish the West wing.

Trump revealed Wednesday that the project will now cost an estimated $300 million and require tearing down the entire East Wing.

I think every week we hear about it it's going to go up $100 million.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 3 points 5 months ago

Well there’s $100 Mil for junior and eric, and $200M for King Two Scoops.

Obviously, the contractors will be stiffed. I mean. C’mon.

Made this the other day. Straight from Obama baggin' on Trump in 2011.

[–] Aeao@lemmy.world 3 points 5 months ago

That’s some Robert Moses type shit

[–] thesohoriots@lemmy.world 3 points 5 months ago

I don’t think most Americans know there was an east wing, or what it contained, and that more know the West Wing as a TV show. I think there’s an Oval Office or something and maybe The Room Where It Happened from Hamilton?

At this point I would be ok with a UFO 👽 demolishing all of it. Strong preference for the whole administration to be there at the time.
