From what I understand, this report and the layoffs were in July. It makes for a catchier headline to say it was days before.

Reminds me of the joke from king of the hill

Hank: for only pennies more you can get this

Customer: how many Pennie’s

Hank: several hundred…

Yeah it happened just days before… 100s of days but just days.

Still it's like machinery, I go through it with customers,

They get you in because they break down a lot then you spend time getting jt running and sell them on the idea of preventative maintenance, they're happy I'm happy I go in grease maintain inspect and service regularly.

Then someone says hey why are we paying this company to look at our machines so often? They never breakdown we don't need this. So they stop calling don't renew contracts etc.

2 years later they ring again saying they're broken down and I just say sure I can fix it but it's going to cost more this time.

You need to maintain even when it's fine

So, should there be another option? And do you believe that Amazon cut 40% of its DevOps jobs? Join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Discord server, follow us on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, TikTok, and Threads, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.

I get it but fuck these guys.
